What does your church do well?

We can often identify what we do not do well, but for now let’s focus on what we do well Minister to kids?  Educate and disciple children? Youth ministry and reaching the youth of the community? Caring for the sick? Hospitality to those in need? Compassion and care for those in need? Every church does something well Identify what you do well as a church, and let’s focus on what we do well and do it better.

Traveling Louisiana

From the beaches to the bayous; from the plains to the hills; from the urban bustle to the ranch’s spread, across this incredibly diverse state we find people in need of the message of holiness.  People who come from varied  backgrounds, cultures, languages, accents, food and worship styles, we come to the realization that what we need most is grace, mercy, and love of Jesus Christ.  He calls us to allow Him to make a difference in our lives and then to make a difference in the lives of others. So whether your footprints are left in the sand or the mud, let’s make sure that they lead others to Christ.

Traveling across Louisiana and getting to know the mission area to which we are all called to served, I am impressed by several things: 1. The friendliness of the people; 2. The diversity of the state, from isolated country churches to downtown metropolitan churches; 3. The passion of pastors who are serving the Lord across the state; and 4. The incredible need of the message of scriptural holiness.  This is our mission field and our calling.  May God’s blessing rest on the church and may He always find us faithful to His call.  Let’s enjoy the journey!  Pastor Chuck Fountain
