Ebenezer Church of the Nazarene, Crowley, Louisiana Welcomes New Pastor

On Sunday, February 15, 2015, Pastor
David and Delilah Young are welcomed to the Louisiana District as they
were installed as pastor of the Ebenezer Church of the Nazarene near
Crowley, Louisiana. Pastor David and Delilah move to Louisiana from the
Eastern Kentucky District where he has been active in many different areas for
several years. Pastor David served as a member of East Kentucky District Sunday School Board and Credentials Board. Kentucky District Sunday School Chairman, 1999-2004. Vice chairman and member of the Advisory Board, Kentucky District, 2004-2010. Past member on Kentucky District Ministerial Studies Board. Pastor David is a graduate of Mount Vernon Nazarene University. Pastor David plays instruments of all kinds, banjo, guitar, mandolin and also piano in the Key of C! He has been married to Delilah for 39 years. Delilah is a professional artist and certified K-12 Art teacher. Delilah has taught young Adult Sunday School and has led sanctuary choir in three of our pastorates. We have 3 grown sons, Matthew, Joe and Timothy. Tim lives in Cincinnati, Ohio. Matt lives in Greensburg, KY. Joe and his family are Nazarene Global missionaries assigned to the Asia Pacific region. All of our sons are actively involved in local church ministry.
